Don’t suppose anyone around here speaks Darnassian?
Love this one, what do you call that thing she’s trapped in?Report
Glad you like it! They’re called stocks, hence the title. 😛Report
Actually, the contraption the night elf is in is called a pillory. Stocks were a similar device, but different. In a pillory, the victim is standing up with their arms and head locked between wooden boards. In stocks, the victim’s legs are locked between wooden boards around the ankles.
stocks = legs locked
pillory = arms and head lockedReport
The more you know! 😮Report
I think you tend to over-exaggerate limb movement a lot in your animations. For example and imo, the night elf’s legs don’t have any reason to be swinging/bending inward like that. It would be much better if the movements were more subtle, or at least the reasonable effect of a cause.Report
You think? A lot of the time I find I need more movement in my animations to make them look better. This animation looked, at least in my opinion, a lot more amateur when her legs were more ‘stiff’. I don’t know, it’s a fine line. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Report
Personally I like the active style. Makes it stand out and gives it a lot of energy.Report
Mhm, that’s how I feel about it too. I can definitely see the other side of the argument, though.Report
Really love this one! The circumstance, the scene environment and not to mention the color scheme. <3 Amazing!Report
Aww, you’re far too kind! <3Report
